Black Flag Rule
-
Black flags will not be cleared. Exceptions to Black flag rule= if you are forced down pit road in avoidance of crash/accident. Dishonesty in requesting this Black flag cleared will result in post race penalty,
-
If someone is out of place after a crash an EOL will be given to that driver that is unable to catch up so others can pit without getting a BF. Those drivers that are being told to allow drivers past should slow up (within reason) to allow drivers past. Please help me by stating which car number is out of place and needs an EOL on the voice chat. If no requests for EOL due to damage sustained is made then none will be issued and it is every drivers responsibility to be in the correct position. Do not pit if the game tells you someone needs to pass you. Your black flag will not be cleared.
-
If you think you will get a BF because someone is out of position on a restart, please notify us before the green flag is thrown and the caution will be extended for 1 or 2 laps.
Conclusion
• I think the most important thing is to have a solid base of drivers.
• Drivers who know its probably more about giving than taking in “give and take”
• Drivers that want races decided under green
• Drivers that understand you can’t win it all on lap 1
• Drivers that understand you should not try to win 10 spots on lap 1 of a restart
• Drivers that understand there is no need to force things. If you are faster you will end up passing the other car
• Drivers that understand that you can’t block your way to a win in a long race
• Drivers that are humble enough to understand how quick they are at a track and that there can only be one winner
Culture
• Most of the people that have been banned from this
league and community have been for being toxic. Toxic behavior in any form or fashion does not belong in The CRL community and will be met with immediate consequences. I don’t have time for a victim mentality. Things won't always go your way.
• This is a league and community built on respect for one and other. Helping each other get better. Understanding mistakes happen. Competition at a high level with like minded drivers.
• Also bringing up issues in private is probably the way to go. When emotional issues are discussed in public, it tends to go sour quickly.
Penalties
• Penalties issued depending on infraction are: Points penalty up to 25 driver points and 100 team points. Next event EOL. Next event start from pits. 1 to 3 race competition suspension note any infraction that warrants 3 race suspension will call for the CRL Team to approve your return to competition
• After a race, we only review incidents that caused a yellow automatically. If you want me to review an incident that did not cause a yellow, please contact league owner or administrator privately.
• Decisions are not personal. Please do not abuse me or any other member verbally. This could lead to expulsion from this league.
• Zero tolerance for retaliation. Accidents will keep happening and holding grudges is not the way to go. Let
the CRL Team do its job.
• It is highly recommended to call pit entries and pit exists. You can call them via text or voice. It is your responsibility to make sure you are texting or voicing that command to everyone. If an incident happens and you did not call your pit entry or exit, the responsibility for that incident will most probably fall on you. Please call pit entries when in a pack. Voice commands must be sent on the channel @drivers. Call them early before turn 3 please.
• Do not change lanes on start and restarts prior to crossing the start finish line.
• If you decide to go out of bounds(Phoenix dog leg or tri-oval at other tracks), it is your responsibility to come back on track safely.
• No passing under the yellow line at Talladega and Daytona and the red line at New Atlanta.
• Please respect the other drivers that want to race under green.
• Causing 2 yellows/incidents in 1 race will result in your case being reviewed by veteran members of this league to see if you will be suspended for 1 race.
• Causing 3 yellows/incidents in 1 race will result in your case being reviewed by veteran members of this league to see if you will be allowed to continue racing with us. (If you are not comfortable at a track, run in the back or please park your car)
• If you reach 4 or 5 yellows for a season, your case will be reviewed by veteran members of this league to see if you will be allowed to continue racing with us.
• We reserve the right to issue penalties to anyone trying to circumvent the rules in a way we determine unfair or dishonest
