Welcome to the finale of the Cleanracing.net season 10 power rankings. I missed a few races. I apologize. Life's been busy. I'm gonna level with you, these may not be a frequent thing for season 11, but I will still do a few. They will be back in the fall. What did I miss? Well Joey Stiers won his 4th championship. Rides off into the sunset as one of the GOATs with plenty of league records that won't be touched for awhile. However his stepson, Josh driving for league favorite Brownney Racing, has demonstrated he is ready to be the King of the league.
Who should be the leader of the week 10 power rankings? Take the poll to let me know. (View Results)
Josh Lilly (Previous: 1)- This kid right here enters season 11 on Fire. 3 wins in a row is just unbelievable. It doesn't happen in real NASCAR even when a car is that much better than everyone else, but this league is extremely talented and everyone runs the same setup so to do it in this league is mind blowing.
Joey Stiers (Previous: 1)- One of the classiest drivers in the league and also the most successful. What a season for the 23 machine. What a career. Hope to see you around Joey. Can't wait to race you again in the fall. Congrats on the season 4 championship.
Evan Kinney (Previous: 3) - Brownney Racing's founding driver who is slowly becoming such a good friend to me and to the rest of you is about to become a father. Season 10 was a good season for him filled with ups and downs. But nothing is going to top season 11 for Evan as his wife is about to give birth to their first child. Congrats on getting some action Evan. Proud of you for letting your wife do all the hard work and have a child.
Rhett Tucker (Previous: 5)- CleanRacing.net's ROY goes to Rhett. Congrats my dude. It's been a season of controversy but honestly if you are here to make friends, you are probably in the wrong sport. Well I'm here to make friends but it's one of the reasons why I don't win races like you all do. 2 wins in his rookie season and an impressive win in the fun race.
Justin Carey (Previous: 6) - P4 in a partial schedule. Solid season Justin. Lots of good runs. You and I always found each other on the track, you seemed to come out better in a lot of races though! I sense a potential challenge for a championship next season! Or maybe a win. Who knows.
Jeremy Mohr (Previous: 7)-Mohr Motorsports driver, Jeremy Mohr finished in the top 5 as much as anyone last season. The only drivers hotter at times was Josh and Joey. They are pretty hard to top. You are in pretty solid company, also may be a championship threat next season. It's been a blast getting to know you Jeremy!
Lane Hosler (Previous: Unranked)- Lane finished the season P9 in points with good runs everywhere he went too. Didn't do all the races but also is a championship threat everytime he races full time. Is a threat to win every time on the track. One of the best raw talents in the league. Also one of my favorites to drive against. I always seem to find him on the racetrack also and we've never had a run in. We've had some near misses though.
Gregg Barnett (Previous: Unranked)- P7 in the points. I don't know if that was his best points finish, but to me it was his best season. That was a tough field of drivers last season Gregg. You should hold your head high. You have been fun to watch grow the past year and a half. You keep getting better and better. I say the same thing to everyone, don't sweat the winning or lack there of, focus on improving and having fun in the process. No one remembers if you've won 21 races and 4 championships, but if you are using this league to improve and make friends in the process - you are using this league correctly.
Mike VanHouten (Previous: Unranked)- Mike! Where did you go the last few races. This league without Mike isn't the same. I think these boys are ready to get along with you now! I told Josh not to wreck you anymore. I think Rhett and Andrew are cool with you know. Come back. Mike finished P8 in the points on a partial schedule. It was a rough season for alot of us, but Mike still showed flashes of why he should be a league champion some day. Mike is a an awesome part of the league.
Fred Garcia (Previous: Unranked)- Fred it's been awesome getting to know you the past year and a half. You have a hell of a league. I appreciate you letting us be apart of it. Here's to a great season 10 and an even better season 11.
Honorable mentions: Rest of the league.
Frederick - thanks for putting the league together!
Special thanks to our broadcasters at ESBN. You guys do an awesome job covering these races and the Power Rankings shoutout was much appreciated! These drivers all deserve recognition in this league.
