The not so often Power Rankings: Season 13. Who Cares Anymore?

Updated: Nov 16, 2022

CleanRacing.Net is the best sim racing league in the world because of all of you. I love each and every one of you. Except Steven Tucker. F*** that guy. He doesn't read these.

Welcome to the once a season because no one reads these, but I'm OCD so I still have to do them, Cleanracing.net power rankings. Season 13 edition. Our league is expanding. We have a ton of new talent with a few guys driving for a provocatively suggestive team name bidding for their first league championship with our group. (Pronounced 'Balls'). We have a McBoner, a SpankAss (OG of course), a guy who is fast as hell (Batby slow the heck down. There are kids at play here) that McBoner or the guys that drive for Balls can't touch (yet). Lot's of touching on McBoners and Balls in this writeup. By the way Tony, my 60+ year old mom really liked last week's broadcast. The concept of livestreaming in front of 10 - 15 people blew her away. I told her someday it will be 50. My wife? Not so much. She heard what you said about her threatening to kill me if I raced on vacation. She then threatened to kill me because you mentioned that publicly. Damn.

Also Josh Lilly we really miss you. Brownney Racing only collected wins and championships because of you. Evan Kinney makes an awful number 1 team driver.

Who should be the leader of the Season 13, power rankings? Take the poll to let me know. (View Results)

1. Matt Batby (Previous: N/A)- 'If you can see this, I'm gonna win this bad boy.' Typically a man who says this equates to a tool or GOAT. Batby seems to be a GOAT. Easily the easiest number one I have had in these rankings and that includes some league legends on some hot streaks (Joey, Josh, etc). But until you beat the 15 year old, these rankings have an asterisk. I am secretly rooting for you.

2.Chris Worrell (Previous: N/A)- No surprise here. SpankAss has been kick ass. He's driving balls out this season. His teammate Michael is not far behind him. I really wanted to compete for a championship against you but after missing Iowa, I am 100% in your camp. I stand behind the pair of boys with the big balls and am secretly rooting for you.

3. Michael Anthony (Previous: N/A)- Easily is going to slide in right behing the OG Ass in front of him. Michael Anthony has had a bit of bad luck but we know he is his teams number one and some luck will prove it moving forward. Such a good driver. Your strategy at 'Dega was impeccable. Typically I get uncomfortable running in the back behind other cars, but most of the race it was you, me, and Steven and I knew I was in good company. Leagues benefit from a wide variety of talent and pros like you are more than welcome. It's how semi professionals and amateur tattoo artists like me get faster. Don't tell Chris, but I am secretly rooting for you.

4. Jeremy Morrison (Previous: N/A)- My second favorite Jeremy M is back. Staple of the league. Glad you are back. 4th in points. Nice quiet season so far.

5. Steven Tuck (Previous: N/A)-I should have turned you at 'Dega. It keeps me up at night now thinking of it.

I mean, I would never turn Steven. He's an averaging an 8th place finish this season. That's one of the best in the league. Just missed a race. Steven always takes what he can get and never drives over his head. It's why everyone loves him and no one turns intentionally turns him. Except next time I'm running second to him.

6. Kevin Becker (Previous: N/A)- I'm telling you all, this guy is good. Like Joey or Josh good if he took things seriously. Like top split good. Like 5k irating good. Problem is he is one of those 'I race everything' drivers and doesn't just focus on NASCAR like some of us rednecks do. And he's super giving and kind and has probably given everyone way too much room on the track because he's a first class dude. And he actually has a job so can't spend half his life practicing like you kids. But in the over 50 years old club (pushing 60), he's vying for number one with the guy right below him and Steven above him. (I don't know how Steven actually is, he just sounds old as dirt on the radio. Sorry Steven). Also he's the teams only hope for a championship. Will be the first time since Brownney Racing's debut that they have been shut out of two championships in a row.

7. Gregg Barnett (Previous: N/A)- Another solid start to a season, Gregg looked really strong at Iowa battling and besting Kevin to win the Senior Division last week. Everyone loves the league veterans, but now that he's won a 'ship the new guys are going to be targeting him to let them know it's their turn.

8. Logan Bandfield (Previous: N/A)- He broke 4k irating.

9. Parker Collins (Previous: N/A)- Parker has had a start to the season he would rather forget, but we know how good he is. He is as good as the top 3 drivers and we will see him race up with them. Especially when we get to the flat tracks. I know how good he is at tracks without banking. He's kicked my ass at tracks I think I'm better at than I am. Getting my ass kicked by him and Josh at New Hampshire last season made me buy new pedals from my favorite Jeremy M this week. Wife wasn't happy but I needed that Load Cell technology to help with the skill these new guys have at these tracks.

No the pedals won't help. But for a few weeks until we get past Vegas I can pretend.

10. Lane Hosler (Previous: N/A)- I can't think of anything to write for you so I'm just going to make it weird. Love you bud.

Honorable mentions: Rest of the league.

Frederick - best admin in the world. Love this guy. I'd marry him if I could. But he just got married so his wife probably wouldn't be happy. Unless he's a shitty husband. Then she may want him off her hands. I'll swoop in then.

Tony - best announcer in the world. But seriously Bigfoot on a Chevy makes sense. It does. But Kevin isn't racing it anymore thanks to you and your snide remarks during Iowa's broadcast*.

*Actually at Brownney Racing we don't keep the same scheme on our trucks for more than a few weeks at a time. We suspend/fine whoever does. It's why Jeremy Mohr missed last week's race. Except for Josh. He does whatever the heck he wants.

Special thanks to our broadcasters at SRM You guys do an awesome job covering these races.
