Inaugural Season 12 Power Rankings: Halfway point. These are as frequent as my Grandma's sh**s.

Updated: Nov 16, 2022

These would be more frequent if people actually read them. People would actually read them if they were more frequent.

Welcome to the inaugural Cleanracing.net season 12 power rankings. 3 People have been asking me to bring them back. One of which is my mother. So I had too. F*** you mom. The other two won't even read these. But narcissism is a funny thing and the only thing sim drivers love more than seeing themselves broadcast and televised on ESBN in front of 15 live people (that's the state in which I prefer people to exist) a week is seeing how high an objective third party rates them relative to their peers. I got news for you. I'm not objective.

Who should be the leader of the week 5 Season 12, power rankings? Take the poll to let me know. (View Results)

1. Josh Lilly (Previous: N/A)- What did you expect? Someone not named Josh to be here? At this point it's pretty clear that Josh is the alpha dog in this league. Is it embarrassing to get beat by the same 15 year old child week after week after week? Hardly. He sports the Brownney Racing colors. We were smart enough to have him drive for us before he started winning with this frequency. So suck it Rev Racing, Tiny Dog Racing, Hi 5 Racing, and every other cleanracing.net team that doesn't have the kid.

2. Parker Collins (Previous: N/A)- Sorry for putting you in the number 2 spot behind the child, Parker. I'm pretty sure at this point you are sick of being behind Josh. You have been damn impressive to start your career with us. And you should already have like 4 or 5 wins, but Josh is pretty good as we are all discovering.

3. Jason Higginbotham (Previous: N/A)- This guy is also pretty damn good. Feels like he is always leading and the car to beat but seems to be a bit unlucky at times though. Reminds me of other veterans in this league.

4. Evan Kinney (Previous: N/A)- Particularly this guy. Evan and Jason (and even Lane H) seem to be carbon copies of each other in this league. Qualify 8th, 30 laps into the run blow past everyone. 10 laps later have an ill-timed caution ruin your long run pace. This can all be resolved if Fred ever turns cautions off in this league. Then it reverts to the d-class street stock races where you just have to survive the carnage for the evening and take care of your stuff.

5. Gregg Barnett (Previous: N/A)-I don't mean to disrespect this season's midway points leader by having him sit halfway here in the rankings. Feels like Gregg could have a bigger lead. Was fast AF at Pocono but tore the wall down. Had an awesome run at IRP which means he probably would have been fast at New Hampshire. It's taken him 2.5 years but he's finally learned to not be anyone's B****. Seriously, some guys from a boy band named RTR really pissed Gregg off. Seems like he's been training and prepping for a reunion with them someday so he can do some old fashion spank ass on those bums. (I know my writing always starts getting more and more weird and fruity throughout a post...keep reading. It doesn't change)

6. McBoner (Previous: N/A)-Has he done anything to warrant his place here on this list? No not this season. But McBoner is too hard of a subject for me to leave off this list. I had to inflate McBoner (his confidence) a bit so he could rise up the second half of the season. Stay in there McBoner. Better times are c*ming.

7. Joe Stiers (Previous: N/A)- I know this isn't where he wants to be ranked. Behind the McBoner. For his own safety, I would rather put him behind McBoner than McBoner behind him. No one wants to live life with McBoner right behind them. Heads would have to be on swivels. Joey could/should be ranked higher. McBoner slid into Joey's spot, but the league has become so competitive that the league's GOAT now has to contend with guys like Evan, Gregg, Lane, Jeremy, and Jason. And kids like Parker and Josh. And whatever the heck McBoner is. It used to be a sure thing Joey was going to show up and dominate, and now the only sure thing is Joey is going to win a couple times a season (because he's still pretty damn good) and find a way to have controversial moments with his step son once or twice a season. I.E. as a lap car putting his son 3 wide leading to a crash when he could have let him have that corner and got him in the next one once he cleared the 14.

8. Austin Carey (Previous: N/A)- Worth mentioning here. This guy is only 1 point behind Gregg. If Gregg is everyone's sentimental favorite for the championship that kind of makes Austin the bad guy by default. F*** you Austin. You just became a villain by virtue of your points position.

9. Adam Duff (Previous: N/A)- If it wasn't for Parker, this guy would be cruising to rookie of the year (season). It's been fun having you Adam. Despite you not having any cool discord names like McBoner or OG_Spankass, you are still a great edition to the league and are showcasing your talents well. Your back to back podiums to start the season are indicators that you have the potential to be a staying power in this league.

10. Mike Mccreight (Previous: N/A)- Was tough putting you in over Daniel, but I had too. I have no justification, you two are both off to great starts though technically Daniel is ahead in points. I appreciate having both of you guys in this league. But I have my reasons for putting you here. It's not a slight on Daniel. It's only a reason I know and no one else will.

Honorable mentions: Rest of the league.

Frederick - best admin in the world. Love this guy. I'd marry him if I could. But he just got married so his wife probably wouldn't be happy. Unless he's a shitty husband. Then she may want him off her hands. I'll swoop in then.

Special thanks to our broadcasters at ESBN. You guys do an awesome job covering these races and the Power Rankings shoutout was much appreciated! These drivers all deserve recognition in this league.
