Updated: Nov 16, 2022

Welcome to race number 8 of the Cleanracing.net season 10 power rankings. Atlanta went well. Everyone got along. Josh finally stayed out of trouble and won cleanly and there was no fighting amongst us in discord after.

Well...

Who should be the leader of the week 8 power rankings? Take the poll to let me know. (View Results)

  1. Josh Lilly (Previous: 4)- ... Except the Josh part. He dumped the 79 into Mike V. Still won though. Josh has turned like the 30th best lap all time at COTA also btw with a 2:16 in open practice. He's pretty dang good.

  2. Joey Stiers (Previous: 1)- ... And Except Joey's race also. He tagged the wall early and had a ton of damage. Still finished P7.

  3. Evan Kinney (Previous: 5) - .... And Except For Evan. He looked dominant, until he picked up a pit road unsafe entry. Finished P10.

  4. Mike VanHouten (Previous: 6)- ...Except for Mike. He got into it with the RTR boys, had a wrecked truck for most of the race courtesy of Josh, and definitely was not getting along. The RTR boys and Mike V do not get along. I neutrally side with Mike V though. He's my boy. Just doesn't know it. Probably because "The Flying Dutchman" is the best nickname in he league, and he has the second best incident free streak in the league. Still finished P6.

  5. Rhett Tucker (Previous: 2)- ---Except for this guy also. Rhett hit everything but the pace car, but I'll keep you in the top 5 one more week. We can all rebound from an off night. Remember to all who read this, this is just a game. You along with your teammates are some of the most talented guys in the league. Let's keep the toxic radio and discord chatter to the online ranks. Nothing is on the line in the league races, and I've gotten the opportunity to know alot of these boys and will always stand with the league veterans that I have gotten to know. Especially when one has a track record of nothing but clean racing.

  6. Justin Carey (Previous: 7) - Went smoothly for this guy though. P2. A win is coming Justin. Maybe at COTA, who knows. He's been talking trash in a private discord with me all week about how slow Lane and Josh are and how little talent the RTR boys have. And How Evan's a hack. And How Fred's the worst admin ever. Okay not really. Hopefully no one reads this part though, I want to stir up more drama.

  7. Jeremy Mohr (Previous: 10)- And Smoothly for this guy also. Favorite Jeremy strikes again with another top 5 at yet another track. This Jeremy is also secretly good at COTA. I've been scouting the competition for Brownney Racing as head talent scout. I even happened to stumble upon a youtube video of this Jeremy dominating the field. It was a low SoF but a win is a win. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1eFDESO3wI

  8. Jeremy Morrison (Previous: 9)- Also smoothly for this guy. This guy has gone from the most controversial driver with his run ins with Ryan to one of the least controversial all in one week. Josh, Rhett, Andrew, and Mike V are really trying take the crown of most controversial driver.

  9. Brian Sullivan (Previous: Unranked)- And smoothly for Brian. Welcome back Brian. Missed having you here. I think you are quietly sneaky good and are like the rest of us who are just here to race cleanly and have a good time. No one ever has an issue with you that I can tell. Your P3 was much deserved! Great Run!

  10. Chris M. Smith (Previous: Unranked)- Finally the greatest Character Arch of all time. Chris went from spinning his tires under a restart last time we were here, admonished by half the league (unfairly and unnecessarily imo), and he has since stuck with it. Keeps showing up, keeps driving as cleanly as he can. We go back to Atlanta and he has a career run. That's what racing is all about. None of the drama we create for ourselves because we aren't giving each other space and wrecking each other and then having horrible attitudes and cussing each other afterwards. This is a game. It's an important game but not because of the opportunity to gather stas, it's important because it's an opportunity to bring the world closer together. Bring drivers from all across the country closer together with a common passion/joy. If we can't get along playing a game there is no hope for this world. But I know we can. Chris is a prime example!
